Red Now is an initiative started by Live the Life to show compassion to those whose lives are touched by the AIDS epidemic. People are affected by AIDS worldwide. Over 65% of people living with AIDS in the world are in sub-Saharan Africa. Because of this, Live the Life is focusing its efforts on patient care at the UHAI rural health clinic in Makwale, Tanzania. The clinic cares for a large number of AIDS patients and also provides free healthcare for orphans whose parents died from AIDS. Proceeds from our Red Now products will be sent to the Makwale clinic for HIV prevention education, medication for HIV patients and salaries for medical care providers working at the rural health clinic.
