1. Trust God
a. First and foremost, we trust God in all that we accomplish, and more importantly, in all that we don’t. Trust in God is the first of the core values at Live the Life for a reason. This value is the umbrella over the other core values, each daily task, short-term assignment, and long-term goal here at Live the Life. A little faith can go a long way.

2. Be Passionate for Life
a. As cliché as we all know it is, we want Live the Life employees to live life to the fullest. Experience, Learning and Opportunity come to those who steadfastly seek out what is new and unknown. We consider it a job requirement to stretch the boundaries. Everyday opportunities to escape your comfort zone present themselves; take advantage. Wherever you are, make the most of it. Write Your Own Story

3. Show Compassion for Others
a. At Live the Life stepping outside of your comfort zone will often affect us most when we seek to help others; embrace this. We can never, and will never be, “just talk.” Reach out to others in need and show true uncompromised compassion for all men and women.

4. Have Fun!
a. Live a life of happiness, appreciation and adventure. Practical jokes, the ability to laugh at yourself and spontaneous unusual assignments will be daily occurrences here at Live the Life. Sit back, relax and enjoy!

5. Be Real / Be Transparent with Each Other
a. Yes, we stole part of this core value directly from Delivering Happiness. Give Tony Hsieh all the credit. So, in other words, be you. Use your experiences, fun stories and original (sometimes slightly weird) characteristics in your daily work. Embrace what you do best. When you don’t know something, find a way to learn it, and always ask others for help (especially the people sitting next to you).

b. Be honest, be up front and be real. Transparency as individuals will translate into transparency as a company.

6. Take Chances / Make Mistakes
a. Take chances you are willing to stand up for and chances you believe in. For someone who has never made a mistake, it’s awfully hard to learn. We want our employees to have the freedom to take chances, make their own decisions and put a stamp of ownership on all that they accomplish (and again, more importantly, all that they don’t). We’ve all messed up, and many times we grow stronger from these experiences.

b. Share your mistakes and triumphs with your coworkers and learn from those around you (each and every employee at Live the Life brings with them an amazing portfolio of knowledge; tap into each other). Learn from those who came before you. Make reading and learning an everyday practice.

c. Always move forward and Improve with change. When you do make mistakes, learn from them and move past them. Change will be a part of our company culture everyday. Be flexible. Be opportunistic when change occurs (good or bad). Always look for a way to improve in all that you do.

7. Be Our Own Critic
a. Trends and fads in the tumultuous marketplace have, in some instances, slimmed down to 24-hour cycles; don’t buy into them. Be confident in your creations, accept constructive criticism, be respectful of others work and be ready to defend your own. Stay true to the Live the Life culture.

b. Let others add to your great ideas. Keep ongoing, open and constructive dialogues with your peers.

8. Apply Aggressive Determination to Get Things Done Right
a. Pursue, Pursue, Pursue and then Pursue some more. Nothing will be perfect, but all that we complete should be as close as possible. Aggressively push to make sure your work, and the work of our suppliers is up to Live the Life standard. Accept nothing less.

b. “The great speakers throughout history, were not joke tellers, they were people of passion, so if you wanna do well today you gotta do what they did. You gotta wave your arms, and you gotta pound your fists many times. So as to emphasize your point.” – Jim Halper, The Office

9. Create Gusto for the Product
a. You are here because you add to our culture. Your personality, work habits, character traits, experiences and the person that you are come to work with you. Put all of these and more into the entire product and all of the service that you provide. The consumer market today crushes fake and insincere products while embracing original and passionate ideas. Put yourself into your craft. GUSTO!

10. Show Grace
a. This is simple. Just do it so that when you need a little grace, someone else is willing to share it with you.
